Situation: a client ordered directly from a chinese trading company some electronics products and wanted to make sure its goods were conform to its requirement

Product: Digital Video Recorder for vehicule

Specifications: 4 chanels asynchronous video recording

Requirement from customer: Check function, packaging, accessories, marking, quantity, harddrive capacity

The goal of our client was to check the quality of his product before payment and shipment in order to be able to reject the order in case where it is not in accordance with his expectation.

The products were Digital Video Recorders for vehicule. Those devices are used as a black box in vehicules. They record on hard drive some video coming from different camera set up in different places in the vehicule (city bus mainly)

This kind of item required special skills to be inspected deeply: IT engineering, Electronics engineering, a good background in new technology, and a real comon sense in order to give a good feedback and a real added value.

We operate of course different test: starting with quantity check, visual check of the product, marking and labelling, function check.

We used the standard MIL-STD 105E and ISO 2859 tables. This standard is recognized internationally, especially in the import-export field.

Take a great number of pictures and note about the product in order to provide an efficient and detailed reporting.
